About

Now in its 57th year, the organization hosts an annual conference that provides attendees with professional development certification courses, motivational speakers, educational workshops, an exhibitors show and an awards dinner.

The focus of the conference is also to discuss and vote upon recommendations for operational procedures and policies for sports programs sponsored by the HHSAA.

Currently, 94 high schools and a co-op athletics program from five different leagues (Big Island Interscholastic Federation – BIIF, Interscholastic League of Honolulu – ILH, Kauai Interscholastic Federation – KIF, Maui Interscholastic League – MIL and the Oahu Interscholastic Association – OIA) in the State of Hawaii are involved with HIADA and the HHSAA.
